Too often, that golden door remains closed to many in our communities. It is only fair that parents and students have access to the education that works for them.
Unfortunately, many Illinois students might not find the right fit in their assigned public school.
Since 2017, tens of thousands of Illinois kids have had an opportunity to find their own unique key to unlock their unique golden door through the Invest in Kids Tax Credit Scholarship program, authorized by the State of Illinois.
Nearly 40% of Illinois families are eligible for the Invest in Kids Act which gives them the freedom to find the right fit for their child from a selection of 651 recognized nonpublic schools across the state.
